Value presents Manifold Gauge - VMG-2-R22-B-03. These gauges are devices that measure the amount of refrigerant or gas in a cooling system, such as the refrigerator in your kitchen or an air-conditioning unit that cools a room. In some cases, they also measure low- and high-pressure, a measurement of how much pressure the gas is under. The gauge measures this pressure with either digital or mechanical gauges. Digital gauges have a digital readout of the pressure and can be used when troubleshooting issues such as leaks to help determine whether the leak is coming from inside or outside the system. Mechanical gauges are considered more accurate but require regular calibration to ensure they're working properly. The most common type is analog, which has a needle that rises and falls with changes in the pressure. Manifold Gauge Sets usually include one or two temperature probes that attach to different parts of a system to ensure the temperature inside and outside of the unit remains at an appropriate level.
